Monster insect

I was washing windows today when I spotted this guy on the outside. I quickly grabbed my macro lens and caught this 1:1 magnification shot.

No, this is the usual size of grasshoppers here around. That's the bug which devastates so frequently Africa !

Once I caught one of 1 meter long ! That makes food for one week...

In fact the 1:1 ratio means that 1mm in real life makes 1mm ont the cam sensor...
