I attended a Philadelphia Soul Arena Football League game yesterday. Arean football starts after the Super Bowl. It's played inside on a 50 yard field. The quarterback passes almost every play. The Soul is owned by Bon Javi. They drew a big crowd--about 17,000.
Great shot. Looks to me like a sports magazine front page. You captured it very well Steve.....

This is typically american! And the team is owned by Bon Jovi??? This is crazy, a rock'n'roll band owning a football team...

the thing that interests me most is that it is played on only 50 yards?!? thats crazy...

I remember going to a Detroit vs. Pittsburgh arena football game in Detroit with the Judd family many years ago. The owner of the team was from Upper St. Clair and we were sitting behind the pittsburgh bench. The coaches wife was sitting behind us and the players kept coming up from the bench and sitting next to us to chat. Seems a lot more intimate than NFL football!

Good shot Steve. If some one could give some explanations about american football rules, I never understand.

Excellent shot of the scene and I like the guy in the bottom of the frame wearing the Soul jersey.
