Michenere MuseumPosted by Steve Kravitz (Florence NJ, United States) on 9 May 2006 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. I visited the James A. Michener Museum Saturday. As you may know, Michener is the author of dozens of best sellers including Tales of the South Pacific, Alaska, Texas, Chesapeake, etc. The movie, South Pacific, was based on his book. The museum featured an Ansel Adams exhbit. However, no pictures were allowed to be taken of Ansel's work. I did see many of his famous pictures in their original printing as done by Adams himself.

Shuva from Hyderabad, IndiaVery good symmetry here! I doubted that A Adam's would be allowed to be photographed. 9 May 2006 6:34am Jason Kravitz from Brussels, BelgiumI didn't realize there was a Michner museum - I enjoyed reading his book Hawaii! I bet the Adams exhibit was spectacular. 9 May 2006 9:17am Nadege from Issy les moulineaux, FranceIt's like a windows to a forest, cool shot. 9 May 2006 11:47am |
