A Ruddy Turnstone at Long Beach Island, NJ

Posted by Steve Kravitz (Florence NJ, United States) on 7 August 2006 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

A young lady on the beach saw me with my camera and thought I would like to photograph this bird not easy to find in New Jersey. I caught him in flight and sitting on the jetty.

Beautifull shot. Shoting bird flying is one of the difficult thing, I try. You have a good result.

Great bird shot! I like that you got the name too. Birders are a funny group of people - very precise and exciteable about new discoveries!
