Baby Sea GullPosted by Steve Kravitz (Florence NJ, United States) on 10 August 2006 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Some of you may remember this look to prior postings. It occurred when I saved a photo from Nikon View Editor. I finally learned why. When you save the quality block was blank. This causes the pattern background. When I change the quality setting to excellant or good the image is saved correctly.

Jason Kravitz from Brussels, BelgiumGlad you figured out what was going on. In this shot the blocky effect kind of works giving it a drawing/painted look. You see a lot of seagulls around but not a lot of young ones - good wing position on this one! 10 Aug 2006 6:21am Dana Lynch from Lawrenceville, NJ, United StatesNice shot. The effect gives the picture a very pop art look. 10 Aug 2006 9:10am Hervé from Paris, FranceNothing to add. The background problem is a good effect here ! :) 10 Aug 2006 6:24pm |
